On Friday November 9, 2007, inspired by
Tucson
radio personality Jon Justice’s “call to action,” over a hundred outraged citizens gathered in Armory park and marched on the police station, to protest a recent change in TPD policy: the police will no longer summon federal authorities to schools and churches when they encounter illegal aliens.
On Wednesday TPD “caved in” to pressure applied by Pima Legal Defender Isabel Garcia and Mexican Consulate Officer Enrique Munoz Castillo, who orchestrated a march by hundreds of Catalina Magnet high school students protesting the recent arrest and deportation of a classmate, a Mexican Illegal Alien, who had carried drugs onto the campus.
“Every time [illegals] march somebody changes a law. It’s about time that legal citizens stand up and have their voices heard,” said Michael Lucero.
Community activist Roy Warden briefly addressed the crowd. “Come on down to the Tucson City Council meeting next Tuesday,” he said. “When We the People put pressure on the mayor and council, get right in their faces, they will listen.”
Warden says that the financial interests of big money building contractors and radical left wing Hispanic hate groups like “La Raza”, “MEChA” and “Derechos Humanos,” working behind the scenes, dominate
Tucson
politics and the media.
“Just read a recent article by Ann Denogean, who disparaged Maricopa officials and their implementation of tough new policies against illegals,” Warden said.
Denogean wrote: “Gee, I hope the people of
Maricopa
County
sleep a little easier at night, knowing they're safe from a crazen, corncob-weilding illegal immigrant."
“Imagine a reporter having the callousness to say that when the five of the last seven
Phoenix
police officers killed in the line of duty were murdered by Illegal Mexican Aliens,” Warden said.
“The last officer was knocked to the ground and shot three times in the face. He had a wife and two kids.”
Warden is now suing Tucson City Officials, and members of the Tucson Police Department in Federal District Court for violations of federal immigration law and intentional violations of his First Amendment rights.
“I’m going to bring the Good ‘Ole Boys all the way down,” said Warden. “For thirty five years they’ve loaded up
Pima
County
and loaded up
America
with Mexican illegal aliens. They’ve done it for politics and profit.
“We’ll, Americans are fed up. We’re mad as hell! And we’re not going to take it anymore!” |
